Where do I even begin! Its been a while, for that I'm sorry-lol. I don't even know if people read this anymore, and if not, that's fine. I would like for people to actually read this though :). We did another IUI in July and today I found out that it was not successful. Travis and I have decided that we will be moving on towards adoption. We are very excited and very scared to be starting this because I know it will take a while. Its all going to be in God's hands though, and we will take it all day by day. We are most likely looking into domestic adoption, as it has higher chance we will get an infant.
I ask that you pray for us during this time. Pray for our future baby (or babies-we may get twins, ya never know :)). Pray that the perfect birth parents will pick us to be parents to their child.

ReplyDeleteI cannot remember how I came across your blog but I have been following it for some time. I want to encourage you that domestic adoption doesn't have to be as expensive or lengthy as some of the published information suggests. We have 2 beautiful children, both adopted from the US, both taken home from the hospital by me and my husband. It took 11 months from the time we started the process until we held our daughter and then another 11 months from the time we were active again until we held our son. I would be happy to share our story with you and answer any questions you might have if you are interested.
